Thank you for your support in our fight against cancer.
Through the Saint John’s Health Center Foundation, your World Cancer Day gift will be directed to the support of our Cancer Institute researchers. Your donation will help provide equipment, staffing, and the many critical resources that enable innovative research to keep pushing the boundaries of our knowledge about cancer forward, and the toll from cancer downward.
Make a Donation Today
This is your opportunity to show your support and encourage the distinguished team of Saint John’s Cancer Institute researchers and scientists. They are internationally recognized for their expertise, knowledge, and dedication in the areas of translational molecular medicine, cancer immunology, and precision medicine. Our programs are possible with the help from supporters like you.
Every day, they are working on behalf of you, our larger community, and the world seeking the information needed to improve the prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.
What these scientists are doing is making a difference. Lives are being saved. Meaningful progress is being made.
– Michael Ricks, CEO of Providence, Saint John’s Health Center and Institute

About the Saint John’s Cancer Institute
In 2021, The John Wayne Cancer Institute became Saint John’s Cancer Institute, building upon its legacy and the work of Donald L. Morton who developed the Sentinel Node Biopsy technique adopted worldwide. For over thirty years, we have championed community-based healthcare and leading cancer research, developed patents for drugs and techniques, and trained countless oncology specialists in the areas of translational science and clinical care in the form of our centers of excellence.
About the Saint John’s Health Center Foundation
The Saint John’s Health Center Foundation is a separate, tax-exempt 501c3 that advances and supports the mission and goals of the Saint John’s Cancer Institute at Providence Saint John’s Health Center (PSJHC), and the Pacific Neuroscience Institute (PNI) of Santa Monica, California. The Foundation contributes research funding, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, research programs, and services facilitated at the Saint John’s Cancer Institute. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors and board of trustees whose leadership ensures that PSJHC, SJCI, and PNI provide compassionate care, research excellence, and cutting-edge facilities for the community, presently and in the future.
