Dr. Foshag is a surgical oncologist with expertise in melanoma, breast cancer, sarcoma, G.I. and gynecological cancers. He has extensive experience in laser, cryosurgical ablative, laparoscopic and endoscopy surgeries. He has been recognized as one of America’s leading experts on lymph node excision, melanoma and skin cancer. He has received several teaching awards in addition to the National Research Service award. To date, he has published or contributed to over 100 research publications and, because of his expertise, he has enjoyed several academic appointments.
