Saint John's Health Center offers a variety of integrative and wellness services that aim to address the physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones throughout the cancer journey. Services include Mind & Wellness, Nutrition, Social Support, Genetic Counseling, Palliative Care, and workshops that calm and inspire.

Our educational webinars are free and occur at various times throughout the year and featuring Saint John’s Cancer Institute and Providence Saint John’s Health Center medical experts, discussing the latest information and research on cancer treatment options, technology innovations, prevention methods, and wellness.

Clinical trials are research studies designed to evaluate experimental treatments and procedures. Most breakthroughs in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with cancer exist because of clinical trials. Each trial will have a goal and treatment based on specific eligibility criteria and differ from study to study.

The Saint John’s Cancer Institute at Providence Saint John’s Health Center offers postdoctoral training programs, including its ACGME-approved, Donald L. Morton, MD Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship, Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship, Urologic Oncology Fellowship, Neurosurgical Fellowship, and lab-based, Translational Molecular Oncology fellowship.

The clinicians and scientists at the Saint John’s Cancer Institute work collaboratively to advance patient care. Our scientists investigate the mechanisms underlying a disease target of interest, and work directly with clinicians to translate lab-based discoveries into personalized treatments.

The Saint John’s Cancer Institute’ Centers of Excellence are dedicated to the understanding, diagnosis, and innovative treatment of cancer. Each center devotes doctors and care teams that promote best clinical practices coupled with applied research findings. This allows patients access to leading treatments in a community setting.
